There are multiple options available for sign carving. Below are a FEW examples.

Pricing: Raw Finish Sign 6" Overall Height = $4 per letter, $2 Per Inch of Logo, $35 minimum. I do not charge for a second line of lettering such as the word church in the sign below. For example, the first sign below would cost $40 as it has 8 letters and a 4 inch logo.

Epoxy is expensive. TotalBoat Epoxy, the only thing we use, is $80 per gallon after tax. Not only do you have the material cost, but you have the time involved which includes back painting, pouring, an hour of bubble popping, sanding, plus shop supplies like cups and rags. Epoxy filled letters are an additional $4 per letter. Epoxy covered signs are an additional $5 per letter. Only the front of signs are epoxied.

Paint filled signs are an additional $0.50 per letter. $5 for clear coat.

This option uses a 60 degree v-bit to give soft angled edges.

NEGATIVE MILLED - Raw Finish
This option uses a flat bit for sharp vertical edges. The words themselves are milled. Finishing options include raw, paint filled, epoxy filled flat, and epoxy filled table top gloss.

POSITIVE MILLED - Raw Finish
This option uses a flat bit for sharp edges. The negative space is carved out instead of the words leaving the words appearing raised.
Example of tinted epoxy filled flat. Can also be done in clear table top epoxy.
Example of tinted epoxy filled with clear epoxy table top (two step process). It is hard to capture in a photo the true depth of the amazing epoxy gloss. In the second photo you can see lights reflecting and myself holding a camera. Since this requires double epoxy, cost per letter doubles.
